My Journey of Transforming Pain into Purpose
Throughout my career I have had the privilege to work across many time zones all over the globe. Especially my jobs in senior procurement and project management functions within international organizations with the goal to develop a new clean and sustainable energy source aligned with my passion and drive to to contribute to “a better life” for people, humankind and our planet.
Working for EFDA (under EURATOM) and ITER International Organization (under the auspices of the International Atomic Energy Agency) provided me with the opportunity to work with many inspiring and brilliant people. As part of an amazing team we implemented contractual agreements with shareholders for a high-risk portfolio of work with a nominal value > 2B€. I loved the stimulating environment and job … building bridges between people and organizations. Focussing on a common target seeing beyond all differences and individual interests.
Meanwhile … my health kept eroding … from whispers to loud screams. My relentless drive to be everything to everyone, while never acknowledging my body’s outcries drove my health into the ditch. A violent auto-immune reaction and resulting miscarriage, followed by a declining health were brutal wake-up calls.
My poor state of health required me to take a radical honest look at how I was nourishing myself at every realm of my being. My health crisis triggered a recognition that my body was not getting the nourishment it required to thrive and I realized the role of unresolved stress and trauma in every aspect of my life …
I lived my life with “mind over matter” but as matter (pain) started controlling my mind, I knew I had to dig deeper to heal and align…
After crawling my way out of a really dark place and taking my own life and health back into my hands and heart, I deeply connected with my purpose to inspire and support others to do the same. So I went back to school and obtained additional education to be of better service.
I integrate my own background in business management and experience with proven coaching and counselling methods and techniques, with compassion, a wide-open heart and curiosity while working with clients like you to reclaim their lives and joy.
The turning point for me was asking for help … quite a novel concept for me at the time …
How do you feel about asking for help?
I want you to know that you don’t have to do this alone and there is hope … there is a life beyond pain that is available to you …
