“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift, and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honours the servant and has forgotten the gift.”

Well-being

What a powerful quote by Albert Einstein and so poignant for this time where the patriarchy is crumbling down and yet fighting back with a vengeance.

The mind is still considered the holy grail by many even though we all witness the poor state of the world as a result of doing so. The mind rationalizes whatever it comes up with, even if it’s dehumanizing, immoral and deeply harmful. It is clear that this one-dimensional way of being, fueled by fear, lack, stress and overwhelm, is no longer working for many of us. We can all see the catastrophic state that the world finds itself in, just looking at the health care systems collapsing, climate change, the wars and violence, and basic human rights that are still being questioned (including in Europe, Canada, and US to name a few) etc.

In this short blog post, I like to zoom in on something that is considered still a “dirty word” in a world where everything needs to be rationalized from the get-go:

INTUITION

Another quote by Albert Einstein seems applicable here:
“If you do what you always did you will get what you always got.”

If we look at the core of why we do this, it comes down to fear … just tune into your body and sit with a question that you don’t know the answer to …

Very uncomfortable, n’est-ce pas?

A choice to cling to the intellect alone is a choice for safety. However, to stand out and create something truly novel, creativity is KEY, and this requires us to tap into the other sources of intelligence that we have inside of us, including emotional, spiritual and our bodily kinesthetic intelligence. If you like to learn more about these sources of intelligence, check out Karla McLaren who has done fantastic research in this area.

Working with your intuitive mind allows you to create.

And this means:

– you move out of the box of conditioning
– you step into the unknown and you take risks

Creativity is a pathway into our intuition and vice versa.

We have become so fearful of the unknown and what we don’t understand (intuition) that so many are hanging onto their mind/logic for dear life, even if feeling very unhappy about a particular situation. This in itself creates a constricted state in which we are not able to create.

Intuition is the place where you can CREATE something unique.

Reconnect with your intuition, learn to trust this profound intelligence and use this inner gift that is just waiting for you …

Only by moving out of our fear mind (or monkey mind) and moving into our heart, can we start building the world we all so desire.

It may lead to surprises and the unknown, but your heart will know when it feels right.

If you had told me 12 years ago that I’d be working as a Somatic Coherence Coach and Clinical Counselling Hypnotherapist, I would have laughed. I was firmly settled in my job in international project management. In fact, my entire self-worth and identity were wrapped up in my job. It was who I was. Except I wasn’t.

A health crisis became the catalyst for my healing journey. I studied and graduated from every healing modality that helped me on my path, and just like Hansel and Gretl, I have kept following the breadcrumbs that felt like “home” and I continue to do this allowing my heart to lead the way.

Home is where my heart feels a deep sense of peace and joy, where I remember who I am and why I am here.

I see deep resonance as my clients reflect back on the efficacy and depth of the work that we do together … and meanwhile, every day I am blessed to provide my own medicine to myself as well.

Take time to tune into your intuition, even if briefly, and listen … you may hear the whisper of your Soul.

It’s where you find the gold.

You are worth it!
